Pascal Comelade

If one seeks a reference point for the work of Pascal Comelade, it would have to be the styles of Reich or Glass, a couple of the US pioneers of the “new music” school. Yet where their work is often inhabited by an over-abundance of intellectual rigidity, Pascal’s experiments are filled with a much more static quality. So while they may be stylistically related, they are in fact quite different spiritually.
