Primitif Sound was formed in 1980 in Grenoble in southeastern France. It consisted of two members - Richard Romero and Eric Hervé, who also sign under the pseudonyms Antez and EH !.

That concert was released the same year on cassette. In addition, guest musicians who appeared on the album were Olivier Masson (Louis L'Escieur, Ol'Mass), Jean-François Welter (Phimores d'Estaplomb, Jean-Fran-Jean, Welter, Monsieur Welter) and Eric Ruiz.

Richard Romero later played in groups Art Moogluff, Art Moulu Tréfin, and independently as "Antez".
