Rife

Issued in a single sleeve with a sticker on the front, with a one-sided A4 insert.
There are two very slightly different versions of stickers on for the release; one has a flat sticker and the other an embossed sticker, though both stickers have the same info re: artist, title, performers etc.

The runouts are hand-etched. Side C has a struck out C.

Some track titles are spelled differently on this release from the picture disc and the CD edition.

Track C1 erroneously spelled Ihingada! on the insert.

There are no durations printed on the release.

This is an "official bootleg" release (aka "auto-bootleg"). After the initial releases of the regular black vinyl double-LP (RIFLE 1), the double picture disc LP (RIFLEPIC 1), and the CD (RIFLECD 1) without any label involvement, Jungle Records was awarded the rights to distribute 2,000 more copies, split between the three formats.

On June 4, 2020 a limited edition of 15 signed copies of the black double vinyl edition was made available on the JG Thirlwell Bandcamp page, with the following information.

"This edition of the official live bootleg, recorded in 1988, is a double black vinyl album in a plain black sleeve with the artwork stickered on the front. The labels are starkly adorned 1.2.3 and 4 in a Russian Constructivist font. A sleeve as raw as the music it contains. Signed by the Master of Disaster himself, JG Thirlwell. Extremely limited quantity.
