Performing Artservices, Inc. was founded in 1972, and provided management, production and administrative services to performing artists in dance, theater and music, spanning from John Cage to The Sonic Arts Union (Ashley, Behrman, Lucier, Mumma), the Childs/Glass/Lewitt collaboration "Dance", Karole Armitage's first large scale European tour, and Peter Gordon himself.
In 1978 Artservices founded the record company Lovely Music.
