Description: Steve has been a music business professional since 1973. He has operated the Songwriter's Studio since 1988, producing demos for many hundereds of songwriters literally "around the the world". Prior to that, he was involved in touring, TV, and motion picture projects. Besides spending time with the 1970's group, "The Classics IV", Steven also backed and performed with many artists during his "touring" days. He was a regular performer/musician on Showtime TV's "LONE STAR BAR AND GRILL". This was the first "series" ever produced for cable TV, airing in 1982. He was featured in the series closing credits, and was seen worldwide wearing a huge Cowboy hat. The show aired for two years. He's also released five instrumental albumes overseas on the Valley of the Sun Label. His instrumental music was also featured in more than twenty releases by "Gateway" in a series of personal enhancement tapes. While living in Houston, he was heavily involved in the local film industry, composing music for a major promotional film for the city. He also scored films for oil giant ARAMCO and Commonwealth Bank. He was the composer of the theme music to the TNN/Music City News Awards Show in 1990. Steve has been a NARAS (Grammy Association) member since 1991. He also is in ASCAP member and has an ASCAP Publishing Company. - Spiral Cash Music Growing up in LA, Steven was heavily involved in the local music scene. He attended an eight week course held by legendary producer "Phil Spector" sponsored by the LARS in 1971. In the early-mid 1970's, Steve led the group "Shadybrook" -touring throughout the US and Canada. Members of this group included guitarist Jeff Jourard, who played guitar on Tom Petty's first album and was a founding member of the band "The Motels". At one point, Jeff invited Steve to be a member of The Motels, but at the time he had other commitments. His instrumental abilities include piano, guitar, and drums. He also spent some time as a synthesizer programmer prior to entering the "acoustic world" of Nashville. In 1976, he helped some in the development of the first computer musical instrument, the RMI Keyboard Computer. He was also in demand as a programmer, assisting composers with his sound expertise. His work was featured on a major commercial for EXXON. He was one of the first owners of the legendary Prophet Five. He is also a graduate of the RIA Recording School in 1982. Steve enjoys producing demos. With his varied background, he can help songwriters achieve their vision in just about any area of music.
