"The Mnemonic Fire Escape EP (POT-8)
Have we got an EP for you, or what? I'm delighted to tell you that yes, indeed, we have. And on it are three wizard tracks. Side One is devoted to Richard Sinclair's Caravan Of Dreams, with Dave Sinclair, Jimmy Hastings, Rick Biddulph, Andy Ward and of course Richard Sinclair himself. The track is 'Keep On Caring', which is taken from a batch of newly recorded demos for a forthcoming LP. Turn over and we give you two contrasting slabs of aural unpleasantness.
First, Nurse With Wound and their 'Red Flipper' especially for the Terrascope and said not only was it the best thing he'd ever done, but it also had the most edits he'd ever done! So, two superlatives in the space of 4 minutes. And then... The Underworlde. Martin Crowley's new outfit. 'Raw Satellite Country' is a typical Underworldian slice of anthemic punk fire. And that's it - another quarter of an hour in the company of people who love you. Or maybe they just sound like they do..." (informations from the magazine)
